01About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Clik: the website at clik.camera, the guest upload pages and the Clik mobile apps (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by:

By creating an account, uploading content or otherwise using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. These Terms are available in English, Hungarian and German, with the same content in each language; the contract is concluded electronically, is not filed by us as a separate document, and does not refer to a code of conduct.

02The Service

Clik lets event hosts (“Owners”) create events, generate shareable upload links and QR codes, and collect the photos and videos that their guests (“Guests”) upload from a browser or the app. Owners can view, download and delete everything uploaded to their events. Guests do not need an account.

03Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an Owner account.
• You can sign up with your email address or with Google. Keep access to your email and Google account secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Tell us promptly at szabogergo.ev@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

04Owner responsibilities

As an Owner you decide who gets your upload links. You agree to:

• share links only with people you want to receive uploads from, and disable or delete links you no longer want used;
• let your Guests know that their uploads will be collected in your gallery, and respect requests from people who appear in photos to remove them;
• use the collected media lawfully, including privacy and image rights, when you download, publish or share it.

05Your content

You keep all rights to the photos, videos, names, captions and other material you upload (“Content”). We do not claim ownership.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process (for example create previews or thumbnails) and display your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you and to the Owner of the event you uploaded to. This licence ends when the Content is deleted from the Service, apart from backups that are overwritten in the normal cycle. We do not use Content for advertising or to train AI models.

When you upload as a Guest, the event's Owner can view, download and keep copies of your Content. Deleting Content from Clik does not delete copies the Owner has already downloaded.

You confirm that you own your Content or have permission to upload it, and that sharing it with the Owner does not infringe anyone's rights, including the privacy and image rights of people shown in it.

06Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to upload, store or share:

• illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities;
• content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property, or someone's privacy or image rights;
• content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, or sexually explicit without the consent of everyone shown;
• malware or anything designed to harm systems or people.

You must not attempt to access other people's events or accounts, probe or overload the Service, scrape it, circumvent plan limits or security, or resell the Service without our written permission.

07Reporting content

If you believe content on Clik is illegal or infringes your rights, email szabogergo.ev@gmail.com with the upload link or event, a description of the content, why you believe it is unlawful, and your contact details. We review reports diligently, may remove or disable content and suspend accounts, and will tell the reporter and, where appropriate, the uploader or Owner what we decided and why, in line with the EU Digital Services Act. You can contest our decision by replying to that email.

08Plans, payments and refunds

Each event uses a plan that sets how many photos and videos it can hold and how long they are stored. The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are one-time purchases per event; the prices, limits and storage periods are shown before you buy and are snapshotted on the event, so later changes to our plans do not affect events you already created.

A paid plan is applied to its event once the payment is confirmed; until then the event does not accept uploads. Purchases on the website are processed by Stripe, are charged in US dollars, and refund requests for them go to us at the contact details below.

You can upgrade an event to a bigger plan at any time. You pay the difference between the new plan's price and the price of the plan already on the event. The new limits and storage period apply once the payment is confirmed; the media and links already collected stay, and the storage period keeps counting from the same start and never gets shorter. Plans cannot be downgraded. Upgrades follow the same payment, refund and withdrawal rules as other purchases.

Purchases in the mobile apps are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and are also subject to their terms. Refund requests for those purchases are handled by the store you bought from, according to its policies. Prices include any VAT the store charges.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers): paid plans are digital services supplied immediately. By buying, you request that we start immediately and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the plan has been fully applied to your event. This does not affect your rights if the Service is faulty.

09Storage periods and backups

Media is kept for the storage period of the event's plan and may be deleted permanently afterwards. Owners are responsible for downloading anything they want to keep before then. Clik is not a backup service: keep your own copies of important photos and videos. The storage period counts from the event date, or from the day the event was created if that is later (an event date counts at most one year after creation). We email the owner about a week before it ends; after that the media is deleted and the event no longer accepts uploads.

10Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and secure, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will tell you in advance and, where the law requires, offer a remedy such as a pro-rata refund.

11Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Google sign-in, Stripe, the App Store and Google Play. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

12Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

We may suspend or close an account, disable upload links or remove Content if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect users or the Service. Unless that would be unlawful or create a risk, we will tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond and to download your media first.

13Warranties and liability

If you are a consumer, you have the statutory rights under the law of your country of residence, including the right to a Service that conforms to the contract. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or for loss of Content that you could have avoided by downloading it in time. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50 if you paid nothing.

These limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury, intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

14Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer living in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.

Please contact us first at szabogergo.ev@gmail.com so we can try to resolve any complaint. Hungarian consumers may also turn to the conciliation board (békéltető testület) competent for their place of residence or the consumer protection authority.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will give account holders at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or in the app, unless a change is required sooner by law. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect; continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept the new Terms.
